					<description>Thanks for your comment, Rene.  The banana in my photo is in fact sliced with a sharp knife and the cleaver is balanced inside.  It was a little tricky to get it balanced right, so it looked like a clean split.  The lighting is pretty harsh on that, didn't have time to bring in my studio lights to make it cleaner.  I would've liked a more ominous feel, instead of something quite so &quot;matter-of-fact&quot;, but it was a fun shot to take.

It does not appear as if the banana skin has been cut at all to lodge the cleaver in it.  The reflection in the cleaver certainly does show a &quot;banana split&quot; in a way no one else ever dreamed of.  Well done!  :)</description>
